Mercedes, please let Blake and I know if we can help in any way. It's warm and dry here in the desert and we have a guest room. Just sayin'.

Oh what a lovely image of you, my dad, and your dogs serendipitously converging on the beach! I appreciate your support and well-wishes. Thank you.

Mercedes& Ben, Very very happy that for now the wolf is looking elsewhere for prey. Hawaii sounds like a perfect stepping stone towards life as usual that we are all praying for. More special as it was made possible by your Dad. “ Never Stop Dreaming” should be everybody’s bumper sticker. Much love to all - Annie Williams

Beautiful expressed Mercedes. Blinking away tears as I read. So sorry for what you’ve been through, so glad you have a healthier girl, trusting it’s long term. Way to go as a Mom & a family. ❤️

I really appreciate your update. Long-Covid is such a difficult, life-changing, and not well understood disorder that turns lives upside down. So glad to hear your daughter is doing so much better and that you are on the way to back to your writing. I look forward to more of your unique take on things and musings about your father's letters. Every so often I see your dad and his dog in my one of my favorite beach silhouette photos and am reminded of the great conversations we would have walking the beach on those uncommon days when our dog walks coincided.
